Lee, 34, took to Instagram to address growing public concern after a video of Chase, 36, went viral online. In the clip, Lee is seen meeting Chase for a meal at a pizza restaurant before accompanying him to a hotel room. According to Lee, the hotel stay was meant to provide temporary shelter while a longer-term plan is developed.
“So many people have been reaching out asking if I’m still in touch with Tylor,” Lee explained in one Instagram video. He confirmed that he recently spoke with Chase, though communication has been inconsistent due to Chase not always having access to a phone.
Efforts Toward Long-Term Assistance
Lee shared that he is exploring multiple options to help Chase get back on his feet. These include the possibility of forming a trust where supporters could donate funds and researching rehabilitation programs that may best suit Chase’s needs.
He emphasized that building trust is essential before moving forward with any long-term solutions, especially given the challenges Chase is currently facing.
Former Co-Stars and Family Step In to Help
In a follow-up Instagram update posted on December 23, Lee revealed that Chase was able to FaceTime with his father, marking an important step in reconnecting with family. Lee also shared that several of Chase’s former co-stars have been actively working behind the scenes to help place him in a treatment facility.
According to Lee, actor Shaun Weiss and his team made significant efforts to get Chase admitted to a hospital, though the attempt was ultimately unsuccessful when Chase decided not to proceed.

With rainy weather and the holiday season adding urgency to the situation, Lee explained that securing basic accommodations was a priority. Chase chose to remain in the local area, and the hotel Lee arranged was reportedly one of the few available options willing to accept guests under the circumstances.
