In a candid conversation, former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Nehal Chudasama pulled no punches as she reflected on her journey on the reality show, her eviction and the dynamics inside the house. She opened up about feeling unfairly targeted, alleged bias in favour of Amaal Mallik, and questioned his integrity by calling him the “biggest dogla” (hypocrite).
Nehal revealed that after her first eviction, her re-entry via the secret room brought renewed hope — but her second eviction came as a shock. “That moment was actually very weird… I stepped out of the house with no phone and no contact with family,” she said. She admitted she felt traumatised when she finally accessed social media and saw how she was being portrayed.
Feeling Mis‐Judged & Targeted
Nehal believes the narrative built around her inside the house and outside was far from the reality. She denied ever manipulating anyone and said all her motives were genuine. She said many incidents were edited or twisted to depict her in a negative light.
“I have never manipulated anyone. … All these narratives that were created about me were not true. Throughout my journey I felt very targeted.”
She also criticised what she perceived as a lack of fairness in how she was addressed by host Salman Khan and the makers, claiming she was often reprimanded during the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episodes while others seemed to escape similar scrutiny.
On Amaal Mallik & His Health
Nehal spared no words when speaking about Amaal Mallik. According to her, his game lacked “integrity and dignity” and the makers were showing him clear favouritism. She claimed:
“From the makers side, all the people in the house are feeling that Amaal is being favoured.”
“If I ever get a chance again, I will call him out. He is not playing with integrity and dignity.”
She further added insights into his health struggles:
“Yes, unfortunately, Amaal has constantly had health issues. For a long time, he had a corn on his toe and many other issues. His health has never been 100 percent okay.”
“We have even had many long conversations on this… He sleeps separate because of his sleep-apnoea machine, but that has nothing to do with his health ups and downs.”
While she acknowledged the health concerns, she linked them to his inconsistent performance and questioned his overall conduct.
On Love-Angle with Baseer Ali
Nehal addressed the speculations around her alleged “fake” romantic link with fellow contestant Baseer Ali. She clarified that her emotional inclination was genuine, but insisted their relationship was misrepresented.
“I did tell Farrhana (Bhatt) that I am emotionally inclined towards him. But that’s about it. … We just teased each other about it. We were just friends, and we always will be.”
She also credited Baseer’s mother for expressing her concerns but said she wasn’t fazed by the criticism.
Emotional Toll & Regrets
Nehal admitted that the experience has taken a massive emotional toll on her. She said she had cried multiple times after seeing how she was projected outside the house. The one regret she shared?
“My biggest regret is having a soft spot for Amaal Mallik … I think I had the strength and all the valid reasons to call him out, and I did not do that.”
As for what’s next, Nehal says she is picking up the pieces and hopes to reclaim her narrative and dignity.
