Khatron Ke Khiladi 2026 Winner: Avinash Mishra Lifts Trophy, Wins ₹20 Lakh, Car and Europe Trip
Avinash Mishra has won Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 after beating Rithvik Dhanjani and Orhan Awatramani aka Orry in the grand finale. The actor took home the winner’s trophy along with ₹20 lakh prize money, a car and a trip to Europe.
After weeks of dangerous stunts, intense competition and some genuinely nerve-racking moments, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 finally has its winner.
TV actor Avinash Mishra lifted the trophy on Sunday, October 4, after getting past Rithvik Dhanjani and Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, in the final round of the stunt-based reality show.
Hosted by Rohit Shetty, the 15th season returned after a two-year break and took the contestants to Cape Town. The season also introduced the ‘Champions vs Challengers’ format, bringing experienced faces of the franchise together with newer contestants.
Avinash Mishra Wins Khatron Ke Khiladi 15
Avinash’s journey on the show turned out to be much bigger than simply proving that he could perform a few difficult stunts.
He entered the competition as a relatively new challenger but gradually became one of the contestants to watch. Week after week, he managed to stay composed during tasks involving heights, water, machinery and other physical challenges.
That consistency eventually took him all the way to the finale.
In the final showdown, Avinash competed against Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry before emerging as the winner of the season. Rithvik finished as the first runner-up, while Orry ended the competition as the second runner-up.
What Did Avinash Mishra Win?
Winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 came with more than just the trophy.
Avinash took home:
- Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 trophy
- ₹20 lakh cash prize
- A brand-new car
- A trip to Europe
The top three finalists were also awarded bikes, according to reports.
Avinash Breaks Down After Winning
The moment Rohit Shetty announced Avinash’s name, the actor became emotional.
Speaking to Rohit after his victory, Avinash reflected on how significant the win was for him. He said:
“In the last 10 years, I’ve been nominated for several characters and have attended award functions, but this is the first time, I’m winning an award.”
For an actor who had spent years being recognised primarily through his television work, the victory clearly carried a different kind of meaning.
Avinash later spoke about the experience and explained why the show became so personal for him.
“Winning Khatron Ke Khiladi feels special because I thought I signed up for the show with a point to prove, but along the way, the person I ended up proving it to, was myself.”
He also spoke about being seen as the “good-looking guy” on television and said the show gave him an opportunity to put that image aside and let his performance speak for itself.
According to Avinash, the biggest challenge was not always physical.
“You can prepare yourself physically, but when you are standing at the edge of something terrifying, there is no performance left – it is just you, your fear and the decision you make in that moment.”
For him, that became one of the biggest lessons of the entire season.
Avinash’s Journey From Challenger to Champion
Avinash’s growth throughout the season was one of the more interesting parts of his Khatron Ke Khiladi journey.
During Team Week, he was made the captain of the rookie team and successfully guided his squad through the challenge against a veteran-heavy team led by Rithvik Dhanjani.
His performances across height-based and heavy-machinery stunts helped him earn praise from Rohit Shetty. He also received a signed custom Fear Jacket from the host.
His biggest breakthrough came during a technically demanding underwater stunt.
Avinash managed to outperform seasoned contestant Karan Wahi in the task and secured his place as the season’s first Top 5 finalist.
From that point onwards, the actor’s chances of going all the way became increasingly difficult to ignore.
The ‘Champions vs Challengers’ Twist
One of the major changes introduced in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 was the Champions vs Challengers format.
Instead of putting all contestants on an equal starting line, the season brought franchise veterans into competition with fresh faces.
The format added another layer to the competition because the newer contestants had to prove themselves against people who already understood the show’s style and pressure.
Avinash, however, managed to hold his own.
The season featured a mix of machine-based stunts, underwater challenges, height stunts and the much-discussed Pain Auction task. The show also introduced Darr Ka Naya Daur, adding new challenges as the competition progressed.
The Grand Finale
The finale brought the season’s strongest remaining contestants together.
The final stage included Avinash Mishra, Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry, while the earlier part of the finale had featured a larger group competing for their places in the final three. Reports identify Farrhana Bhatt, Karan Wahi, Avinash, Rithvik and Orry among the top contenders during the finale stages.
The final challenge pushed the contestants through one of the season’s biggest stunts, including the much-talked-about helicopter-to-water stunt.
Avinash ultimately came out on top.
Avinash Celebrates With Eisha Singh
After the announcement, one of the more emotional moments came when Avinash ran towards his close friend Eisha Singh, who was sitting in the audience.
The two hugged and celebrated the victory together, with both appearing emotional during the moment.
For Avinash, the celebration marked the end of a season in which he had repeatedly pushed himself through tasks that tested both his physical strength and his ability to control fear.
A Different Side of Avinash Mishra
Before entering Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, Avinash was already known to television audiences through his acting career.
But the stunt show gave viewers an opportunity to see a different side of him.
Instead of relying on his screen presence, Avinash had to perform in situations where hesitation could immediately cost him a task. His ability to keep going despite the pressure became one of the defining aspects of his journey.
In his own words, the biggest win was not just the trophy.
“I came to Khatron Ke Khiladi wanting to test myself; I am leaving with a belief in myself that I didn’t have before. That, for me, is the biggest victory.”
Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 Runner-Ups
While Avinash took the trophy home, Rithvik Dhanjani finished the season as the first runner-up and Orry as the second runner-up.
Both contestants made it through a demanding season and reached the final stage after competing in several difficult tasks.
Rithvik’s experience and consistent performances made him one of the strongest competitors throughout the season, while Orry remained one of the show’s most talked-about contestants.
Final Verdict
After returning from a two-year break, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 ended with Avinash Mishra having the last word.
From starting out as a challenger to becoming one of the season’s strongest performers, his journey eventually culminated in the grand finale, where he defeated Rithvik Dhanjani and Orry to claim the title.
For Avinash, the ₹20 lakh prize, car and Europe trip are certainly big rewards. But judging by his reaction after the win, the bigger takeaway seems to be the confidence he gained from pushing himself through the toughest moments of the competition.
Avinash Mishra is officially the Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 winner.
